Owner/Director, Think Tank
The first thing you should know about Patrick, is that he likes to write about himself in the 3rd person… The second thing is that aside from being the proud Owner and Director of Think Tank CoWorking, he has a diverse and nimble set of professional interests and accolades. He has even gone so far as to refer to himself as a “General Specialist”… Whatever that means.
That said Mr. Roche’s background is something of an enigma. He has worked in various media-related fields over the years – most notably as a documentary producer for Plum TV and Principal Pictures, as well as a staff writer at the St. John Tradewinds. In 2005, he decided to switch gears, starting his own building-contracting firm – a trade he continues here in the Portland area.
Mr. Roche sits on the board of Mensk, a stellar non-profit arts council that generates public arts programming for the city. He is also on the Elections Committee with the League of Young Voters, a non-partisan political coalition whose noble aim is to free people of their antipathetic view of the democratic process.
Mr. Roche’s says his entrepreneurial drive has found ample inspiration here in Portland. “This city is brimming with tech-savvy creative types; people who recognize the importance of collaboration and share a vision of Portland’s bright and progressive future.”
